Tambach High school by Jonan
These two pictures look similar, the first one is
the water color painting of Jonan,
the second is the real photo of
Tambach Boys' High school soccer field- Iten.

Angela's kitchen
I took these pictures in the traditional African kitchen at the Kalenjin village.
One day I will paint it into a real painting on canvas.
The lighting, the colors, the objects are perfect for beautiful painting.
I really like the series of these photos

Training Bara children to do art work
During the Vacation Bible School  Jordan, Sifa, Ciku, Darlene, Tobias, Stephen, Joy and Mercy together with other Bara children had art project to do. Following the VBS theme "Go Fishing" they are required to create a picture of sea world on the church wall.
The following photos show our Bara children doing their art work.

Little gift for Big people

Blessings from Kenya post election turmoil

Two months after we were assigned in Baraton, we must be evacuated to Nairobi because Baraton and the surrounding Eldoret area experienced such horrible killings and burnings. It was a terrible experience, especially during the time we were evacuated.  We must passed a long road blockade and watched people burning cars and houses.
We were saved by a drunk angel who recognized us as Baratonian. I called him drunk angel because I could smell his breath and see how wild his eyes was when he inspected us, however  only  with his assistance we managed to come out of the angry mob and safely reached the airport.
We spent about 3 weeks at the Indonesian's embassy compound as refugees, but it was during this period that we really enjoyed our unplanned vacation and the result was my family portrait sketches I did using pencil and ball-pen.
The following pictures are our family art works.

Jonan's water color painting- I helped him a little and he diligently drew the grass and the tree's leaves, however he always said "this is papa's painting". I like the strokes he applied on the grass.
