Bro. George Siika

I was so sad and shocked when Paul Nyamweya- my student informed me that his uncle George Siika passed away.
The Siika family had been our friend since Chief Fred- their first born son took some of my classes. We shared music and love the same old classic old songs.
On Dec. 2009 we visited their house in Ngong town and had lunch together. Bro. George invited us to visit their farm in Naivasha, and I promised that we would share our vacation with them again. However, we never fulfilled this promise because of my tight teaching schedule. Last Thursday morning I visited them again and shared our deepest condolence to his wife Dr. Margaret Siika, his children - Chief Fred, Elaine and Arnold.
Having good friend and losing one is always a sad experience, but His promise to see him again in the morning when HE comes is the faith we all shared with the Siika family.
